Modem IP supports all three modulations of IEEE 802.15.4g. It is further available to support parallel preamble detection of three different modulations: one FSK modulation, one O-QPSK modulation and one OFDM modulation. Demodulator switches into a single demodulation mode once a preamble has been detected. This parallel preamble detection nicely offers performance the same as whether parallel preamble detection is used or not, i.e., no impact can be detected on PER from the cross detections of the different preambles. The demodulator is very competitive as shown in the table below.
